Privacy Protection on the Internet


GMG Vision has implemented privacy terms and conditions to become a trusted entity, ensuring the responsible use of personal data and sensitive information freely provided by visitors to the website, and guaranteeing their respect and protection.

Data Controller GMG Vision, a company providing business management services, with registered office at Via Giuseppe Gioacchino Belli, 86 - 00193 Rome, is the data controller for personal data voluntarily entered by visitors online, in accordance with Article 28 of Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003, as amended by Legislative Decree No. 101 of August 10, 2018, in force since September 19, 2018, regarding the protection of personal data. The contact details of the Data Controller and the Data Protection Officer appointed by GMG Vision are provided at the end of this notice.

Collection of Personal Data and Processing Purposes Visitors to the GMG Vision website can freely browse without any obligation to register their personal data. GMG Vision will process personal data and sensitive information voluntarily provided by users exclusively for the specified purposes and requested services. Visitors can register to request one or more services:

  • Submitting CV (Career)

  • Information requests (Info)

  • Registration for events, conferences, training courses

  • Registration to receive news and access our technical-informational article archive The data communicated or collected during browsing is not normally accompanied by any additional personal information beyond the usual data transmitted implicitly through the use of Internet communication protocols (such as domain names, IP addresses, operating system used, type of device and browser used for the connection). These are primarily non-identifying information that, by their nature, could, through processing and associations with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user's operating system and computer environment. These data are processed solely for the purpose of:

  • obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site;

  • ensuring its proper functioning, in which case they are immediately deleted after processing;

  • managing the control of its use;

  • ascertaining responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes. The legal basis legitimizing the processing of such data is the need to make the site's functionalities usable after user access.

Cookie Policy Cookies are pieces of information placed on the user's browser when visiting a website or using a social network with a computer, smartphone, or tablet. Each cookie contains various data such as the name of the server it originates from, a numerical identifier, etc. Cookies can remain in the system for the duration of a session (i.e., until the browser used for web browsing is closed) or for longer periods and may contain a unique identification code.

  • TECHNICAL COOKIES Some cookies are used for computer authentication, session monitoring, and storage of specific information about users accessing a web page. These so-called technical cookies are often useful as they can make web browsing and use faster and more efficient. For example, they can facilitate certain procedures when making online purchases, authenticating to restricted access areas, or when a website automatically recognizes the language you usually use. Another type of cookie, called analytics cookies, is used by website managers to collect aggregated information about the number of users and how they visit the site. This helps generate general statistics about the service and its usage.

  • PROFILING COOKIES Other cookies may be used to monitor and profile users during their browsing, studying their movements and browsing habits or consumption patterns (what they buy, what they read, etc.), including the purpose of sending targeted and personalized advertising (known as Behavioral Advertising). In this case, we refer to profiling cookies.   • COOKIES USED The website uses cookies to make the services of the site easier and more efficient for the user browsing the web pages. It does NOT use profiling cookies. Users accessing the site will receive small amounts of information in their devices, whether computers or mobile devices, in the form of small text files, called "cookies," stored in the directories used by their browser. The cookies used by allow:

  • storing browsing preferences;

  • avoiding re-entering the same information multiple times;

  • analyzing the use of services and content provided by the site to optimize the browsing experience. The website uses technical cookies. In this case, the information generated by the cookie about the use of the sites is transmitted to Google Analytics and stored on its servers. These data recipients use this information to generate reports on site activities for the Data Controller or parties appointed by them. It should be noted that GMG Vision is not responsible for the information and data disclosed by the visited sites and exercises no control over them. Additionally, GMG Vision reserves the right to remove links to websites that are deemed harmful to its integrity and image. GMG Vision does NOT disclose any personal identification data or information to third parties unless, if necessary, to those involved as suppliers for the provision of services related to the management of the website and the subsequent management of the contractual relationship and related administrative obligations. GMG Vision also does not transfer personal data to third countries or international organizations. Lastly, GMG Vision does not carry out processing activities consisting of automated decision-making.

Exercise of Data Subject Rights The data subject has the right to verify their personal data, the purposes, and methods of their processing at any time. In accordance with Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22 of EU Regulation 679/2016, the data subject may address the Data Controller for these purposes at the following email address: In particular, the data subject has the right, at any time, to request access to their personal data, rectification, erasure, and restriction of their processing from the data controller. Furthermore, the data subject has the right to object, at any time, to the processing of their data (including automated processing, e.g., profiling), as well as the right to data portability. Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, if the data subject believes that the processing of their data violates the provisions of the GDPR, in accordance with Article 15(f) of the aforementioned GDPR, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority. In relation to Articles 6(1)(a) and 9(2)(a), the data subject has the right to withdraw their consent at any time. In the case of a data portability request, the data controller will provide the data subject, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, with the personal data concerning them, except for the provisions of Articles 20(3) and 20(4) of the GDPR. The data subject may refuse to provide their browsing data to the data controller. To do so, they must disable cookies by following the instructions provided by their browser. Disabling cookies may negatively affect navigation and the use of the site's features.

Appointment of the Data Protection Officer (DPO) May 25, 2018 With the Appointment Act of May 25, 2018, Global Management Group Srl appointed Attorney Antonella Agostini as the Data Protection Officer (DPO). This figure is provided for in Article 37 of the European Regulation 2016/679 and is responsible for supporting and monitoring, consulting, training, and providing information regarding the application of the European Regulation (GDPR). The Data Protection Officer collaborates with the Data Protection Authority and is the point of contact for data subjects regarding all matters related to the processing of Personal Data (Articles 38 and 39 of the Regulation).
